Just catching up on the weather stuff before it gets away from me.
According to Weather Underground, Chicago O’Hare registered a high on Friday of 34, a low of 27 and no rain. Â Washington Reagan National had a springlike high of 62 (16 degrees above average), a low of 43 and no rain. Point for D.C.
Chicago O’Hare registered a high of 33, a low of 28 and .02 of an inch of precipitation that included a dusting of snow….
… while Washington Reagan National had a high of 43, a low of 33 and a trace of precip. Nothing to write home about, but point D.C.
Sunday was a much nicer day in Chicago, with O’Hare registering a high of 43, a low of 26, no rain and this lovely sunset…
Washington Reagan National had a high of 44, a low of 32 and no rain. A virtual tie, but that’s 11 degrees above Chicago’s average and two below average for D.C. So that thumb on the scale enables Chicago to hold on to a bare 69-68 lead in the Cooler on the Lake Shore Chicago vs. D.C. Weather Smackdown.
